WB Firepacks, the maker of pump sets for sprinkler, foam and water mist solutions, will expand its service department in 2022. In the new building there is enough space for all colleagues of the service department. A nice division has been made in work preparation, sales and planning. In this way, a nice and quieter working environment is offered to all colleagues.
The new office space has an area of 365 m2. This means that there are spacious offices for our colleagues. Eldert Hoogenboom, Service Manager of WB Firepacks: "The old building does not offer enough space for the crew today but certainly for the future. The new building has much more space but certainly also "living comfort". It gives us the opportunity to organize departments better and more efficiently. We also hope to offer people a more pleasant working environment."
In addition to the fixed workplaces, a number of flex desks have also been realized. The Service Engineers are regularly in Zwijndrecht for meetings, training or to update their reports. It is then nice that they can take place at one of the flex desks, so that they can work in a quiet environment.
Within the new building there is a large meeting room. This way we can of course receive customers here, but also our Service Engineeers. This space offers many different possibilities for the service department. Throughout the year we facilitate internal training. Here the Service Engineers are trained to broaden their knowledge about the different applications. For example, a training was recently given on working with foam applications.
What happens to the old building of the service department? This building consists of 80% storage space and 20% office space. "No final decision has yet been made about this, but it is likely that the old space will be used as an instruction room and as a showroom. In addition, the space can also be used as a test room for future developments," says Eldert Hoogenboom.
